BPW Nepal's Polytechnic for Women

Located at the head office in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu, BPW Nepal's Polytechnic offers professional and skill oriented training to educated and job needy women and girls and also to the low incurve community women to generate micro entrepreneurship development at HH level.

Secretarial Training

The Secretarial Training program is designed to provide students with the necessary confidence, business skills and professional knowledge required in today's modern business offices.

Marketing Training

The Marketing training has been designed to encourage more women to pursue careers in business, advertising and promotion, retail management, financial services and NGO management. Professional Marketing Training is a six month course designed to introduce basic marketing techniques to women interested in entering the field and Intensive Marketing Training is a four week course targeted to women who are currently working in business or in a non-Government organization.

Literacy Programme
Offered through BPW Nepal's chapters.

'Poverty Reduction through Socio Economic Activities' Project
Project implemeted in villages of three districts, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur by respective chapters; Kathmandu, Patan and Thimi. at first phase . Presently second phase program is under way in two district Prasa and ……..

Non Formal education and Food Processing/ Preservation (Project Five-0)
Jointly conducted by BPW and Nepal University Women's Association the Five-O-Project,is this project is offered trainings to poor, young girls working as housemaids to enable them to be literate and self reliant. Training provided so far has included food processing and preservation, and sewing and cutting too. Currently, non-formal education is running in two villages for women at a grassroots level. The program is of 6 months duration, and after completing literacy training the participants will be provided with skill training on sewing and cutting. The trainings provides them with literacy, numeric, self esteem/self reliance and hygiene and sanitation as ………..

Besides this short trainings like Sales technique, Marketing, Accountancy, Gender, Leadership development, Capacity building and other skill trainings have been provided to women of urban areas.
